Overweight doesn't mean Ugly.. by miaowstic Overweight doesn't mean Ugly.. by miaowstic

Gah, I haate it when people use sterotypes like this D:<

Alright, overweight doesn't mean ugly, or unhealthy, or lazy, etc!

Its all personal opinion, ok? But seriously. I've seen my fair share of unattractive overweight AND skinny people...
And I've seen my fair of beautiful overweight people.
But what people think what is and isn't attractive is their choice, but come on...
Saying all overweight (im using that word coz fats a bit harsh XD) people are ugly, stupid, fat etc?
Its dumb :B
And isn't it about whats on the inside as well? :XD:
And I'm having trouble wording this. I'll let the stamp speak for itself...

Yea, might change this later, I'm a bit tired...

However, I hate inflation art and overly obese art of things... its kinda weird

Might make more stamps like this. Maaaybe.

It depends on what you would consider "overweight". If you just mean a few pounds over what you should be, then I could agree with this.
However, I do not find morbid obesity to be beautiful.

That can be argued. Now, I am not saying that people should always make it TOP PRIORITY, but there is nothing wrong with taking just a little pride in your own appearance.

:/ being overweight doesnt mean someone doesnt have pride in their appearance, some people cant lose weight for various reasons, or they don't want to. everyone is beautiful

I was aware that some people are unable. I was pointing out those who have the ability, but just choose not to. I am talking about MORBIDLY OBESE types of people, not those that are known as "chubby".
Anyone can have a kind, loving, and compassionate attitude that can draw people to them, yes, but will mean little to some people if they turn out to be lazy and inactive couch potatoes. (I am not saying that all "overweight" people are lazy.)
I was just stating my opinion in my first comment. You can be polite and accepting (a beautiful personality), but I do not see obesity as beautiful. Neither should people use the phrase "It is on the inside that matters" as justification for being lazy.
You understand this, yes?

everyone is beautiful. end of story.
"its on the inside that matters" there you go. that phrase is legitimate.

a lot of overweight people arent lazy. and some people are a little more open minded than people's appearance.

I never claimed that a lot of overweight people were lazy, I did not wish for you to assume such. While I agree with the quote in itself, I just think that some people misuse it and turn it into an excuse.

I actually am proud for my weight, being chubby in my school is an advantage, we get more time getting to jog and chat with your friends .  And I find myself beautiful for being chubby.
